About Dan
A fresh start of my own
Real estate started as a hobby I shared with my mom. I went to the University of Waterloo for Kinesiology and worked for Hamilton Health Sciences' ABI program. I loved that job.
In 2010 I proposed to my wife in Boston Public Garden. The plan was a home and a wedding. The problem was I had no savings, and I got passed over for a promotion that went to someone with less experience.
So I studied like crazy. Aced two courses in two months, work most people stretch over a year. Sat through classes in Waterloo after working night shifts at the hospital, running on caffeine and 5 Hour Energy. Got licensed. Joined a team. Sold over 50 homes in my first year and paid for the wedding, the furniture, and half the down payment in cash.
A fresh start isn't about starting over. It's about building something new on top of the life you have already experienced.
